Driver Shift Management

Evocab's Driver Shift Management facility allows you to control when drivers are logging on to the system. By enforcing a 'Starting Window', you can determine when your drivers are able to log on to begin work, thus ensuring you have cars out to cover difficult times (e.g. early hours/evening rush hour).

With configurable override options, Driver Shift Management offers ultimate flexibility in how closely you want to manage your drivers.

Callback & Soon to Clear Policing

Callback and Soon to Clear are great features, but it is possible for drivers to misuse them, which is why we have implemented controls that determine how far a driver can be from the pick-up or destination, in order to send a Callback or Soon to Clear. Of course this distance is configurable, because you wouldn't want it the same for all areas.

GPS Vehicle Tracking

Evocab uses GPS satellite tracking technology to monitor vehicle movement - so you can tell where all your drivers are. With GPS, not only can you see where drivers are, it also means they no longer have to report their location, since it is done automatically.

Even better, all GPS actions are logged, giving you the ability to replay a vehicle's log history to see where it has been - an invaluable management tool.

Feeding Reports

We have a number of reports which will show you when an operator has manually dispatched work or overridden Evocab's automatic dispatch mechanism, providing you with the tools to identify instances of dispatcher feeding.

Document Tracking (Driver Barring)

To help ensure all your drivers are up to date with their personal and vehicle documents, Driver Barring manages important information such as driver badge and vehicle plate expiry, Insurance expiry and MOT documents. When a document is due to expire, a message will be shown to the driver on his or her in-car unit – and if it goes overdue, the system can even prevent the driver from logging on, and will notify which document has 'barred' them.

Driver Work sheets

Our integrated administration package allows you to manage your driver charges and credits, so at the end of each week (or whatever time period you wish) you can provide them with a printed driver statement, and breakdown of their new charges - plus of course any balance carried forward from their last sheet.
