Accurate Estimates
When a telephonist accepts a booking with Evocab, he or she has an instant, at a glance view of how busy the system is, using the Average Dispatch Time chart on the Booking Screen. This means the telephonist can advise how long it should be before the job is sent out to a car, giving the customer a more reliable indication of their waiting time.
Soon to Clear (Follow-on jobs)
When a car approaches the destination, the driver can send a message from his or her in-car unit, to tell the system he or she will soon be free, and ready for a job in the destination zone.
This Soon to Clear feature can dramatically increase fleet efficiency, thus reducing customer waiting times.
Credit Card Payments
For customer convenience, with Evocab you can accept payment for jobs via credit card - either by a Telephonist in the office, or using a card swipe in the car.
"Where is my Taxi?"
With Evocab, when your customers call up to query where their car is, every telephonist can simply look at their own screen, and with a few button presses call up the booking in question, which will display a map of the job, showing the pick-up, and the car assigned to do the job (if it has been dispatched). This means the telephonist can give an instant response, telling the customer where their car is, how long it is likely to be, and even the car's make, model, colour and registration!
